China Behind (

Origin: Hong Kong

The film was about life in Kwantung in 1966.

A number of university students with bourgeois background escaped to Hong Kong. They were disillusioned by the Chinese Communist Party during the Cultural Revolution.

The Wheel Rolls Along (##)

Origin: China

This is a film on the war between the KMT and the Communists in which the Communists are portrayed as goodies and the KMT as baddies. The film also deals with relationship between the KMT and the USA. The Political Adviser was consulted and said that the film was alright for public exhibition in Hong Kong.

The Big Circle Boys (17)

Origin: Hong Kong

A gang of immigrants from China goes around robbing people and banks. They even kidnap a woman. In a shoot-out between the police and the gang, everybody in the gang is either killed or arrested.

This film caused problem for censorship, but on the advice of Special Branch, it was passed with some cuts on the most violent scenes and sex.
