Annex
A draft Film Censorship Bill was published on 3
April 1987 for public information and comment. Subject to
Executive Council's advice, it is intended that the Bill
be introduced into the Legislative Council for enactment
within the current legislative session.
The Bill seeks
(i) to repeal the sections related to the censorship
of films in the Places of Public Entertainment
Ordinance (Chapter 172) and the entire Film
Censorship Regulations made under that Ordinance;
