11. The principal Ordinance is amended by adding, after section 12, the following

(a) deposited in Hong Kong currency on fixed term or call deposit or in a savings account, in any bank or deposit-taking company licensed under the Banking Ordinance 1986;
(b) invested in Hong Kong dollar certificates of deposit issued by any bank or deposit-taking company licensed under the Banking Ordinance 1986; or
(c) invested in bonds or other securities issued or
guaranteed by the Government.”.
12. The principal Ordinance is amended by deleting the Schedule and substituting the following—

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Control of Publications Short title. Consolidation (Amendment) Ordinance 1987.
2. The long title to the principal Ordinance is repealed and replaced Repeal and

"To provide for the registration of local newspapers and news agencies and (Cap. 268.)
the licensing of newspaper distributors and for matters connected therewith.".
