PENSION BENEFITS REGULATIONS 1987
Made by the Governor in Council under section 35
Citation and Commencement.
1.
PART I
PRELIMINARY
These regulations may be cited as the Pension
Benefits Regulations 1987 and shall come into operation on
1 July 1987.
Inter- pretation.
2. In these regulations, unless the context
otherwise requires
<
"Category A officer" means an officer who is appointed to
an established office and who is confirmed in an
established office at the time of his retirement or
resignation from the service;
"Category B officer" means an officer who is
(a) holding a non-established office at the time of
his retirement or resignation from the service; .or
(b) holding an established office at the time of his
retirement or resignation from the service and
who is not confirmed in an established office;
