THE AFFILIATION PROCEEDINGS (AMENDMENT ) ORDINANCE 1986
(No. 64 of 1986)
The main objects of this Ordinance are co amend the Affiliation Proceedings Ordinance -
(a) to remove the financial limits on periodical
payments for an illegitimate child;
(b) to make provision for a lump sum payment to
be awarded in addition to or instead of such periodical payments.
2. Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
