been fixed. I should be grateful if DTP could provide a short factual paragraph about the purposes and effect of the Order which we can use with the Chinese. We will first need to clear it with Hong Kong (and indeed check that they have no objection of principle to the making of the Order). In the meantime we both agreed to check what, if anything, was said to the Chinese in 1984 about arrangements between HMG and Hong Kong on licensing. to be in touch on this soon.
