This Ordinance amends the Pilotage Ordinance in several
Section 3 amends the composition of the Pilotage Advisory Committee and increases the quorum of the Committee.
3.
The
Sections 4 and 5 amend the provisions of the principal Ordinance relating to medical examinations and eye tests. Director of Medical and Health Services is now empowered to prescribe fees for medical examination, while the Pilotage Authority may exempt certain applicants from the requirement of medical examination.
4.
Section 6 amends section 10D of the principal Ordinance to exempt certain vessels from compulsory pilotage.
5.
Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
