A BILL
To
Amend the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation Ordinance.
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent
of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Kowloon-Canton Railway Short title. Corporation (Amendment) Ordinance 1987.

Section 30(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting Amendment of after paragraph (j) the following-
"(ja) the designation of bus stops and the erection of appropriate signs
and notices thereon;
(jb) the designation of stopping places for light rail vehicles operated on the North-west Railway and the erection of appropriate signs and notices thereon;".

Explanatory Memorandum
This Bill amends the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation Ordinance to empower the Governor-in-Council to make regulations for the setting aside of bus stops and stopping places respectively for buses and light rail vehicles used by the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation.
2. This Bill has no Public Service staffing or financial implications.
