Agreement will need to be reached on handling

media enquiries following an incident or accident

at Daya Bay.

Within the Hong Kong Government, Economic Services Branch is responsible for co-ordinating emergency planning arrangements. The Royal Observatory will be responsible for monitoring and

assessing the consequences of any accident. Other Departments, such as the Water Supplies Department, Medical and Health

Department, Agriculture & Fisheries Department will also be

involved.
