Under the Agency's Technical Assistance Programme:
Expert (Nr. Kendall) in the field of radiochemistry for 9 months and related equipment of an approximate valuo of US$13,500.

1. To consolidate the earlier activities performed in 1965,
which are:-
a. To assist in establishing a radiochemistry laboratory; b. To prepare syllabuses for radiochemistry courses for second and third-year general degree students and fourth-year special degree students of chemistry;
c. To initiate some research work; and
d. To introduce a radiation protection service at the
university.
2. To expand the radiochemistry laboratory into a radioisotope
unit which will provide services to all departments.

The Government and the Agency will apply to the assistance provided by the Agency covered by this Agreement the provisions of the Revised Standard Agreement set forth in United Nations document TAB/R. 251/Rev.1 (a copy of which was attached to the Agreement No. TA/AGR/HOK/1). In view of the provisions contained in paragraph 3 of this Agreement, Article V.1 of the Revised Standard Agreement will not apply; effect will be given to Article III.1 as provided in paragraph 4 of this Agreement.
