I am confident that, over the last 10 days, you have seen much in
Britain that is of interest to you. I hope you will draw on our
experience and develop the contacts you have made. Please come back
to us if you want to see more or to explore other aspects of nuclear
safety. We will be delighted to welcome you. I understand you
talked to the British Council and they outlined the possibilities of
academic and industrial training under schemes administered by your
own State Education Commission. When you have had time to rest
after your visit, we hope, through our Embassy in Beijing, to
reflect with you on how best to take matters forward. In the
meantime, it just remains for me to thank you all most warmly for
coming to Britain and to say that we hope very much to see you
again.
