In order to meet with the requirements for the construction of the Guangdong Nuclear Power Station, GNPJVC recruited a large number of project management personnel from relevant enterprises, universities and institutes in China in the past few years.
GNPJVC has set up its Operations Department so as to conduct strict
training for operations staff. GNPJVC has employed a Belgian specialist with experience in the operation of a nuclear power station as its Operations Manager to lead production preparations and training of operators. The trainees are young people selected from units having nuclear reactors and conventional power stations available in China, with university qualifications and operation experience. Now most of the key positions in the Operations
Department have been filled. After attending the basic course in operations, those finishing the course with good results have been sent to Beijing and Shanghai to receive French language training for 10 months. They will then be assigned to France for training.
