The meeting at Culcheth discussed the Phase II Accident Assessment report and its development in Phase II.

Some extension of the original Phase II programme was requested by HK in response to the enhanced public interest in the safety of the Daya Bay plant. It was agreed that:

- a comprehensive summary of the information required from UK to carry out phase II would be prepared

- a revised cost estimate would be submitted, separating the additional components
