(b) the Auditors shall submit their report to the Finance.
Committee not later than 15 March immediately following the end of the financial year to which the accounts relate. The Finance Committee shall forward to the Council its comments, if any, on the Audit report. The Auditors shall be present when the audit report is considered by the Finance Committee. They shall also be present when the report is considered by the Council, whenever they deem it necessary or in the event of a Member giving written notice to the Secretary General, not less than 15 days before the Council session, that it wishes the Auditors to attend that session.
(c) The Council or the Finance Committee may at any time direct
the appointed Auditors to hold an extraordinary audit of any accounts of the Council, including trust funds, reserve and special accounts, and provide for the submission of a report on that audit.
Rule 15 General provisions
These Rules, which shall be regarded as an integral part of the Rules of Procedure of the Council, shall be effective as from the dates of their approval by the Council and may be amended only by the Council.
