As promised when we spoke today I enclose a copy of the Italian Embassy's Note (which we have acknowledged) proposing the extension to Hong Kong of the bilateral double taxation convention of 1960. I have also sent a copy of the Note to Hong Kong for any comments the Hong Kong Government may have.
