e. Supply. Plans are being laid in Hong Kong for a

reduced Ordnance Services unit to fulfill a current

Army supply functions following the probable closure

of the Composite Ordnance Depot site at Blackdown

Barracks in 1992/93.

Maintenance. A study is underway to centralise all

second line maintenance support for Army equipments at 50 HK Workshops Sek Kong. This will subsequently be reduced in turn on a phased basis.

The minor support elements will be reduced in line with

battalion reductions, although the maintenance of essential functions will preclude exact parallel reductions. Each support and specialist unit is undergoing, or will require, a specialist study.
