DEFINITION OF QUALIFIED FLOOR AREA
This refers to the area of an unit for exclusive occupation of the owner(s) excluding ancilliary iron cages, ancilliary cocklofts and common areas such as stairs, passageways, lift shafts, lobbies and such other areas used/occupied as pigeon coops, kennels, chicken sheds, water tanks, pumphouses, transformer/meter rooms, carports and areas such as yards, terraces, gardens, flat roofs and the like.
Subject to paragraph 1 above, the qualified floor area shall be measured from the exterior of the enclosing wall of the unit and the middle of the party walls between two units.
