If you have not been continuously resident in the Walled City since 14 January 1987 you only qualify for the payment at (b) (i) on page 6.
If you will not have been resident in Hong Kong for 7 years at 31 March 1990 you only qualify for the payment at (b) (i) on page 6.
In the case of resident owners, if you owned domestic property out- side the Walled City on or since 14 January 1987 you do not qualify for rehousing but can get the payment at (b) (i) on page 6. You may also apply for HOS flats but will be accorded no priority status.
If you are a single person then you are not entitled to purchase an HOS flat but you may claim the payment at (b) (i) on page 6. Subject to eligibility and availability, you may alternatively get a single person public rental unit. In this case, the payment at (b) (i) on page 6 would not apply and compensation for your premises would be assessed in accordance with its FMV.
You may also be eligible for compensation for disturbance such as removal expenses. For information on this, please turn to page 10.
