1. You will have received a copy of Mr Jasper's circular minute of 29 April calling for bids for outward visits in the period from September to Christmas 1987.
1987. You are asked to let me have your proposals in time for me to submit them to Mr Hervey by noon on 11 May.

The list enclosed with mr Jasper's minute (over six months old) contains very few bids for visits to the Asia and Pacific region in the period in question. If you have suggestions for major new visits, eg by the Prime Minister or the Secretary of State, I should be grateful if you would have a word orally before putting them on paper.
