YOUR VISITS TO GENEVA AND LONDON
1.
I am sorry it has taken some time to get back to you on arrangements for your visit to Geneva: but UNHCR seem to close down in August and head for the Riviera!
2.
We have now arranged for you to call on Hocké at noon on 16 September. Hocké will then host a lunch for you. Following that we have arranged for you to call on the UNHCR Resettlement Section (including hopefully Mr Issaka, its head) at 3pm.
3.
Your travel arrangements have been arranged by HKGO London. They will post to your East Grinstead address your return ticket, which is for the following flights on 16 September:
a)
BCal flight BR 772
Leaving Gatwick at 08.55 and arriving Geneva 11.30 (one hour time difference).
b) BCal flight BR 775
Leaving Geneva at 17.10 and arriving Gatwick 17.45 (one hour time difference).
Flight a) is tight for your noon appointment with Hocké, but it is the best we can do. There are no earlier Gatwick flights to Geneva. You should be all right in that you will I assume have no luggage and someone from UKMIS Geneva will meet you on arrival. think that David Moss will accompany you on your calls.
4.
Christopher Hum is away, but I know that he is looking forward to seeing you here (as I am, of course!) on 17 September. Would about llam be OK? Do you want us to try to arrange any other calls for you eg on MOD or the Home office for the afternoon?
