Under this system, the business of the Corporation is
found even more viable. At present, the average salary
of the workers is about 150 RMI yuan per month.
Subsequent to the briefing, the delegation was also
invited to see the production line of one of the
factories and visit the family of a
pharmaceutical
worker.

In
Dongguan,
operated
the delegation visited two factories
arrangements. One is a
joint-venture on
joint-venture petween a packaging company of Guangdong
Province, certain industrial companies of the Dongguan
City and an Australian entreprise to produce fresh
keeping and refrigerating equipments. The products can
be used for keeping fresh fruits, vegetables, aquatic
products, reats and eggs, etc. These refrigerating equipments mainly serve the domestic market. The other
joint-venture between Dongguan entreprises and a
hong kong companies in the productior of advanced-class retardant epoxy glass fibre. This copper clad laminate factory is the first of
the first of this kind in China. The two
factories are one of the many successful examples of the
introduction of advanced technology in the industrial

sector.

Shenzhen University
Mr. Luo Zhengi, president of the University, guided the
group to visit the campus, including the library and its
roof which over-looks the proposed airport site at
baishizhou which is presently occupied by farmland
extending onto the tidal plain. Due to the relatively
