MACAO
1. Holloway in the BTC Hong Kong copied to us his letter of 19 February about increased pressure in Macao to quality for Portuguese passports. This is simply to say that the suggestion that passports issued in Macao confer different rights of stay from those issued in Lisbon is wrong. There is only one. Portuguese passport which confers right of abode in Portugal (and of course in the rest of EC after 1993).
