Withdrawal Action
Copies to:
1. Since the introduction of the Government's policy on
parking in April 1985 we have taken "withdrawal action"
in over a 100 cases. The action involved a letter from
the Vice Marshal to the Head of Mission passed to him
personally asking that the offender pay all unpaid fines
within, say, 4 weeks, and warning that if the fines are
not paid in that time we will have no choice under the
Policy but to request his withdrawal. An example is
attached.
2. No-one has so far been withdrawn because in every cas
so far the fines have been paid and the request for
removal withdrawn.
