shall continue to seek suitable opportunities to do so, and to ensure that Chinese government is aware of the concern of people in this country.
Does HMG still recognise Chinese suzerainty over

Position remains as stated in this House by our
honourable friend Mr Luce on 22 November 1983.
2. REPRESENTATIVE GOVERNMENT IN HONG KONG
-
Falsified Submissions to the Survey Office
Aware of the problem, which Hong Kong Government is taking very seriously.
Number of falsified submissions identified to date is
small (a matter of hundreds) in comparison to total
submissions received (over 130,000).
Survey Office has announced it will pass all false
submissions to the Police.
Survey Office will naturally exclude from its report any submission found to have been falsified.
Do not believe overall accuracy and credibility of report will be significantly affected.
