Dear Mr Chan,
Re:
Proposed elevated access road from Shiu Fai Terrace
to Inland Lot No. 2071 Section B, Hong Kong.
A meeting of the Incorporated Owners of United Mansion, 7 Shiu Fai Terrace, was held on 1st July 1985 and I am instructed to write to you to object to the proposed elevated access road construction from Shiu Fai Terrace to Lot 2071 Section B, Hong Kong.
This proposed construction will be greatly detrimental to the residents of Shiu Fai Terrace for the following
reasons:
1.
2.
3.
4.
It will lead to increased vehicular traffic both during construction and after its completion in Shiu Fai Terrace, which is a narrow street already congested.
It will seriously damage the environment through the destruction of trees and other flora in an area which is now an attractive pedestrian route between Kennedy Road and Shiu Fai Terrace.
Destruction of trees and the roadworks will damage the slope stability.
Pedestrian right of way between Kennedy Road and Shiu Fai Terrace will be interruputed, at least during roadworks, and possibly permanently.
