ए
Sir,
Proposed elevated access road leading from
Shiu Fai Terrace to Inland Lot No.20/1 Section B
I like to register my objection to the above development proposal, both to its work and use. I am objecting in my capacity as a flat owner of Greenville Gardens, Shiu Fai Terrace. My grounds for objection are as follows:
1.
The work is solely of benefit to future residents of Inland Lot 2071, why should concession be granted over the use of Crown land and at the public's expenses?
2. It makes better sense to link vehicular access from
Inland Lot 2071 to Kennedy Road, since that portion of Kennedy Road has been improved by the development of Bamboo Grove.
5. Increased traffic flow to be brought about by the
development would escalate threat of traffic accident to school children in Shiu Fai Terrace and nearby schools in Stubbs Road. Parents & Teachers Association and schools ought to be given an opportunity to comment. Flease remember children need special care and attention.
4. Upheaval caused by construction work over an 18 month
period and the subsequent increased traffic flow defeat the purpose for which the convalescent home was located in Shiu Fai Terrace in the first place.
