Dear Sir,
Re: Proposed elevated access road leading
from Shiu Fai Terrace to Inland Lot No. 2071 section B, Hong Kong
My husband and I are the joint owners of an apartment in United Mansion erected on Inland Lot No. 8183.
I am writing to object to your proposal to execute the road work as outlined in your Notice dated 12th July 1985.
The elevated access road will pass immediately in front of our building, thereby destroying the view and cause disturbance to the quiet enjoyment of our flat. It will also destroy the quality of life which we are able to enjoy by virtue of the fact that there is no road in front and no petrol fume for pollution.
I do not see why the owner of section B of Inland Lot No. 2071 could not gain access from Kennedy Road, which is a much shorter distance. Grandview Tower is more or less in the same position and has succeeded in overcoming the difficulty despite the gradient.
We will be very disappointed if Government is to assist a developer in the development of this land with total disregard to the objection of the adjoining
owners.
Yours faithfully,
Lee Joh Ming.
