Amend the Business Registration Ordinance.
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice
and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
Short title and
commencement.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Business
Registration (Amendment) Ordinance 1987 and shall be deemed
to have come into operation on 1 April 1987.
Amendment of Schedule. (Cap. 310.)
2. The Schedule to the principal Ordinance is
amended in item 1 by deleting paragraph (f) and
substituting the following
"(E) on or after 1 April 1985 and before
1 April 1987

on or after 1 April 1987

Explanatory Memorandum
The purpose of this Bill is to amend the Schedule
to the Business Registration Ordinance to give effect to
the proposal in the 1987 Budget, to increase the fee
payable on-the-registration of a business or the issue of a
further business registration certificate.
