"(i) has an academic
qualification in structural
engineering recognized by the
Building Authority on the
recommendation of the Registration
Committee;";
in sub-sub-paragraph (ii) by deleting
"degree" and substituting the
following
"academic qualification";
(e) by deleting paragraph (5) and substituting the
following
"(5) Nothing in paragraph (1), (2),
(3) or (4) shall affect any person who has
been included in a register before 1 May
1987."; and
(E)
in paragraph (6) by inserting after "practical
experience" the following
"gained in Hong Kong".
Amendment of regulation 4.

Regulation 4(1) of the principal regulations is
amended by deleting sub-paragraphs (b) and (c) and
substituting the following
