The objector's reason for objection was mainly related to compensation for : (i) Government should clearly specify the method of compensations for removal of the village houses and permission should be given for re-building the houses, (ii) reasonable compensation should be given for the various items inside his lot that were affected.
The objector's house, land and various items are affected.
Modifications to the limit of works area are considered not possible.

Although Government has explained to the objector that the assessment and award of compensation, if any, would be made in accordance with the provisions of the Roads Ordinance and that withdrawal of the objection would not prejudice the award of any compensation for which he might be eligible, the objector refuses to withdraw his objection, Further discussions have been underway between the objectors and the DLOZIL staff on the detalls of the compensation”
