Objection to the New Territories
Circular Road Project, Stage III
In connection with the captioned works, the District Lands Office, Yuen Long informed us in the document (Ref. No.: LNT 212/YFW/60L) dated 5 September that land at Lot No. 3590 in DD 104, San Tin will be resumed. Since village houses erected on the above lots are to be demolished, we now lodge an objection on the following grounds :
(1) Clear specification concerning the compensation
for the above-mentioned village houses should be given.
(2) The above lots and the seven village houses built
thereon have been in existence for many years.
(3) Unless permission for compensation and rebuilding
of these seven village houses will be granted, otherwise, the authorities should not resume the
above lots.
(4) Reasonable compensation should be given to the
access road, sunning ground, wall, wire mesh fence, "Pai Lau" and agricultural produce.
