I refer to your letter of 11.12.1986.

As the revision of the plan scheme of the captioned project
considered still affects my land, I am writing to register my
objection.
On 21.10.1986 Chief Engineer Ho, Senior Engineer Lau
and Engineer Wong of the Highways (NT) Region and the District
Officer, the Assistant District Officer and the Liaison Officer
of Yuen Long District Office called at my house. And they gave me
a verbal promise in respect of my application for reconstruction on another piece of land/temporary house licence.
I do realize the importance of the captioned project to
the development of the New Territories. But I am an old man and
I have spent all my money here. What I am asking for is but a fair
and reasonable treatment.
