Dear Sir,
Upon receipt of the notice of the implementation of the
N.T. Circular Road Improvement project, I am in fear that my restaurant namely Foon Hei Lau Restaurant located at lot nos. 2597 and 2599 in DD 104 at the entrance to Ngau Tam Mei Road, San Tin, Yuen Long will be
affected. I have engaged in the food and drink trade with gruelling toils for nearly twenty years. The money I earned with herculean efforts
were all invested in the business which can in no way be considered
large-scale hut the investment did amount to millions of dollars. My
restaurant has employed ten-odd staff members who in turn support the
livelihood of tens of people. It is for the above reasons that I am
strongly opposed to any project which will affect my business. I venture
to request you to pay a site visit to find other workable alternatives
as there is land available for the use of the project around my restaurant so that I can continue with my business.
Yours faithfully,
CHAN Chu-tin
