The realignment of the route at Chuk Yuen Tsuen
modifi
necessitates further modifications to the route alignment
of the adjacent section between Yau Mei San Tsuen and Wai
Tsai in respect of which authorization has been given.
The amendments proposed in this scheme are mainly related
to the revision of the route alignment between Yau Mei San
Tsuen and Wai Tsai but some other amendments are also
proposed to the authorized section between Pok Wai and
Sheung San Wai.

Details of the Proposed Amendments
Following a detailed engineering study, it is now
proposed to amend the road works authorized by the
Governor in Council. The amendments are shown on Plan
Nos. NH 6157 and NH 6158 and more particularly described
below :

Replacement of the single trunk road bridge at

the proposed Fairview Park Interchange with two
shorter bridges and an earth embankment in the
middle.
Addition of a culvert across the Fairview Park
Interchange for further improvements to the
drainage system.
