Outreach service

6. Dr. CHIU asked:

Given that outreach social work for the elderly is now provided by only a few voluntary agencies on a very limited scale, will Government inform this Council what role it. plays in the provision of this service at present and whether it has any plans to expand this service?

for the provision of outreach services to the elderly,

this does not mean that considerable effort is not put

into reaching out to elderly people in their own homes.
