Public Health and Municipal Services (Amendment) (No.3) Bill 1986
sir,
I move that Clause 1 be amended as set out in
the paper circulated to Members.
2.
I introduced the Public Health and Municipal
Services (Amendment) (No.3) Bill 1986 into this Council in
December last year to make minor textual alterations to
section 2 of the Public Health and Municipal Services
(Amendment) Ordinance 1986.
3.
The textual alterations were required to ensure
that the section amended, in the manner intended, the
definition of 'food' in section 2 of the Public Health and
Municipal Services Ordinance, since the Public Health and
Municipal Services (Amendment) (No.2) Ordinance 1986 had
inserted a new definition of 'food'.
At that time it was expected that the present
