In the meantime, an after-burner system is
being installed to reduce the offensive odour.
This is
scheduled for completion in april 1987. In addition, two
inefficient blood cookers have recently been replaced.
Staff of the Environmental Protection Department are
monitoring the situation closely and will suggest further
measures to improve the situation as necessary.
