The Government aims to promote the awareness of

young people of their right to register through civic

education programmes in schools and seeks advice from the

Committee on the Promotion of

of Civic Education. In the

past, youth organisations and student bodies have helped

in distributing registration forms and encouraging their

members to register during the voter registration

periods. The Government will continue to rely on their

assistance in future registration drives.
