Draft articles of the Basic Law
I forward for your information a set of the draft articles of the Basic Law which have been put forward by the Basic Law Drafting Committee Special Groups so far and our own corresponding drafts. The drafts that were proposed by the BLDC Special Groups have been obtained from a number of sources, such as contacts, press reports etc. They should not, therefore, be treated as the official version yet. We expect that the BLDC will make public some of the latest draft articles of the Basic Law, in particular those in Chapters II, III, VII and IX, after the Fourth BLDC Plenum.
