Further to our recent telephone conversation, I am writing to confirm that Sir David Wilson, the Governor (Designate) of Hong Kong, will visit you at Nuffield College at 4.15 pm on Tuesday, 3 March 1987.
You have kindly agreed to reserve a room for the occasion and to meet up with Sir David at the porter's lodge.
On arrival, Sir David will be accompanied by our Deputy Commissioner, Mr Albert Lam. Mr Lam will move immediately to another appointment and return to Nuffield at 5.15 pm to rejoin Sir David. His next appointment for the day is at 5.30 pm at Keble College.
