Does Hong Kong law apply in the Kowloon Walled City?
Nothing has changed in this respect. Illegal immigrants and criminals
found there have for example been dealt with in the past according to
Hong Kong's normal procedures, and will be for the remaining three years
of the Walled City's existence. The important point is that a slum is
to be cleared, and with it all the problems that have plagued the
residents and the people of Hong Kong in general.
