On 3 December 1985, NB officers seized 1 kg of No. 3 heroin when they stopped and searched a car in Peace Avenue. A Chinese male and his wife were arrested.
7.4 kgs No. 4 Heroin seized by NB
Case Reference: SKM/CCR/1960/85
On 5 December 1985, NB officers seized 7.4 kgs of No. 4 heroin, 28 bottles of strychnine nitrate and a large quantity of packing equipment, when they searched a private flat in Rose Street, Yau Yat Chuen. The heroin was to be shipped to New York concealed in tins of Chinese tea. A Chinese male and a Chinese female were subsequently arrested.
700 gms Heroin seized by SDS/SSPO
Case Reference: CSW/CCR/3957/85
On 8 December 1985, SDS/SSPo officers seized 700 grams of No. 3 heroin when they stopped and searched a Chinese male in Li Cheng Uk Estate, Sham Shui Po. Some 12 grams were found on the arrested person while the rest was seized from his address during a subsequent search.

On 17 December 1985, SDS/Y seized 500 grams of No. 3 heron when they searched Flat F, 8th Floor, 119 Portland Street. One Chinese male was arrested. Result: Pending.
