The Governor may by order prescribe such
modifications as he considers necessary in the legislation applicable in the Territory in consequence of subsection (1)
above.
27. (1) In this Act "custody order" and "custody proceedings" shall have such meanings as the Governor may by order
prescribe.
(2) For the purposes of this Act "the appropriate court", in relation to the Territory, means the court specified, in column 3 in Schedule 1 to this Order, opposite to the name of
the Territory.
29. (1) This Act may be cited as the Child Abduction and
Custody Act 1985.
(2) This Act shall come into force on such day as the Governor may by order appoint; and different days may be so appointed for different provisions.
