Thank you for your letter ref. HKK of 14 August 1986 advising that Her Majesty the Queen has not exercised her power of disallowance on the Ordinances listed in my letter of 23 July 1986.
However, I would like to seek confirmation that Her Majesty the Queen has not exercised her power of disallowance on the Immigration (Amendment) Ordinance 1984 because the copy of the despatch you have enclosed in your letter is in respect of the Immigration (Amendment) (No. 2) Ordinance 1984, the advice on which was received here in July 1984.
I also look forward to receiving your advice on the Ordinances on Betting Duty and the Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps.
