Security of tenure in public housing is rightly, and as much protected, as in private housing, so long as the better off tenants are willing to pay a fair share of rent.
A special committee, set up under the Management
Committee to deal with families in special circumstances, is worthy of support. In order that this Committee may be seen to work in an impartial manner, membership of this Committee should be independent from the influence of the Housing Department and should include members other than those from the Housing Authority.
