An Ordinance to amend the Hong Kong Trade Development Council Ordinance.
[24 January 1986]
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (Amendment) Ordinance 1986.

Section 7(2)(c) of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting after "post of" the following-
Amendment of section 11.

"senior".
Section 11 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) in subsection (1)(b)—
(Cap. 364.)
(i) by deleting "seven" and substituting the following—
"eight";
(ii) by deleting sub-paragraph (v) and substituting the following—
"(v) the Chairman of the Committee of The Hong Kong Associa- tion of Banks within the meaning of The Hong Kong Association of Banks Ordinance,
(va) the Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong,"; and
(iii) by deleting "four" from the proviso and substituting the following-
(b) in subsection (1)(c)———
"five";
(i) by deleting "three" and substituting the following-
"four";
(ii) by deleting "and" at the end of sub-paragraph (ii);
(iii) by inserting at the end of sub-paragraph (iii) the following-
"and"; and
(iv) by inserting after sub-paragraph (iii) the following-
"(iv) one shall be nominated by the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong,"; and
(c) in subsection (2), by deleting "(v)" and substituting the following--
Amendment of section 14.

"(va)".
Section 14 of the principal Ordinance is amended---
(a) in subsection (2), by deleting "four" and substituting the following-
"five"; and
(b) in subsection (3), by deleting "seven" and substituting the following
"nine".
