I confirm the advice you have received from Mr McDonough. Where, in ordinary passport issuing, included persons have lesser immigration status than the passport holder this is indicated in the passport. Immigration authorities, therefore, have come to accept that if there is no indication to the contrary, the one status endorsement applies to all on the passport.
