1. I am enclosing the text of a written PQ answered in the Rajya Sabha (Upper House) on 24 April by the Minister of State for External Affairs (Mr Narayanan) on the issue of the future nationality status of the Indian community in Hong Kong.
2. You may also be interested to see the enclosed article published in the Patriot on 5 May, reporting Mr Sital's reaction to the latest developments announced by the Home Secretary on 23 April. I am enclosing two other articles which appeared earlier last month, to illustrate how the issue is being perceived here.
