Thank you for your letter of March 4th, the enclosed article and the photographs which will be a splendid momento of a memorable evening.
Since I have been back I have had one informal talk about the problem with Lord Cledwyn and Lord Mackie of Benshie (have you met him? supporter).
He is an enthusiastic The problem is of course that, if the Government do not give you the right of abode, it is a convention that Orders in Council are not voted on in the House of Lords and such conventions are very difficult to break. that the Labour and Liberal Whips in our House at least are thinking about the
