Hong Kong. Indeed the BN (0) passport will apparently not
state directly that the holder has the right of abode in
Hong Kong. Instead it will indicate that the holder
possesses a permanent identity card as evidence of right of
abode in Hong Kong (Source: South China Morning Post
October 18th 1985). The grant of such an identity card
will depend upon the administrative authority of the SAR
(Section xiv Annex 1 of the Joint Declaration).
